Ibrahiim Madadi, Vice President of the Vahed’s Syndicate, at Public Prosecutor Office

 

On Monday October 15, 2007, Ibrahim Madadi, vice president of the Vahed Syndicate‘s Workers, transferred from Evin Prison to the public prosecutor office, zone 12.

 

Following a complaint had been filed against Mr. Ibrhim Madadi for disrespect behavior toward government official and disturbing the order of the labor department by Abbas Mohammadi, one of the authorities at the Tehran Province Labor Department, he transferred from Evin prison to the prosecutor office, and he defended himself from the accusations before the prosecutor of branch 13.

 

To remind you, on June- July 2007, Mr. Ibrahim Madadi along with some of the other suspended workers of  Vahed company went to this department to follow up their trade union’s claims, and they  badly treated by the authorities of the office. Then, they went to the public prosecutor office, zone 12 to defend their civic rights, and they filed a complaint against Mr. Mohammadi. Also, the accused person filed a complaint from Mr. Madadi for the baseless accusation. Pursuing Mr. Madadi’s complaint had been postponed because he was in prison, but Mr. Madadi transferred from Evin prison to the prosecutor office for the complaint that Mr. Mohammadi had filed against him.

 

After Madadi defended himself, the prosecutor ordered a third person bail, but because of his imprisonment this bail wasn’t accepted and he returned to the Evin prison again at 1:00 P.M.
